A storm of fire swept through the village in the night, and the people fled. Now the dark lies heavy over the broken homes, and the children are scattered and afraid. Layla takes up the last lantern and walks into the night to gather them, one by one, to the light.

Bring your lantern close to a frightened child and hold it there until their fear softens. They will follow you.
Do not rush. Fear cannot be outrun — only calmed. Move too fast and those behind you are lost to the dark again. Walk with patience, and lead them all to the safe tent's glow.
